The breast milk storage bags with temperature-sensing technology for safe, hygienic storage of mother’s milk
bébémarc Breastmilk Storage Bags provide mothers with a hygienic solution for the storage of breast milk. Each bag is pre-sterilized and features a tamper-evident seal, along with a convenient spout that allows for easy pouring without wasting a single drop. The double zipper seam and reinforced side seams offer extra durability, ensuring secure storage for your precious mother’s milk.
A temperature-sensing visual on the storage bag serves as a quick reference when warming breastmilk. If the blue milk drop icon changes to a lighter blue, it indicates that the milk is at the optimal feeding temperature of approximately 37°C (99°F). If the pink milk drop icon disappears, the milk has become too hot.
Instructions for Use
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them with a clean towel. Avoid touching the inside of the breastfeeding storage bags.
2. Tear off the tamper-evident seal to open the storage bag.
3. Pour expressed milk into the bag, filling it up to a maximum of 200ml (7oz) to allow for expansion when freezing. This is crucial for effective storage for breast milk.
4. Squeeze out excess air from the bag and seal it securely using the double zipper.
5. Clearly label the bag with the date the milk was expressed.
6. Store the bag in the refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible for effective breastmilk storage.
To Warm Breastmilk
1. To preserve the milk's nutrients, thaw it overnight in the refrigerator or hold the bag under running warm water (maximum 37°C or 99°F). Alternatively, place the thawed bag in a cup, jug, or bowl of lukewarm water for a few minutes to bring it to body temperature, or use a bottle warmer.
2. The blue milk drop icon will turn lighter blue when the milk reaches the ideal feeding temperature (around 37°C or 99°F).
3. Tear or cut the pour spout, then pour the thawed breastmilk into a feeding bottle. If the milk fat has separated, gently swirl the bottle before feeding.
4. Do not allow the temperature to exceed 42°C (108°F) when the pink milk drop icon disappears.
5. Once the breastmilk has been brought to room temperature or warmed after refrigeration or freezing, it should be used within 2 hours, following the breastmilk storage guidelines.
These breast milk storage bags are an essential tool for any breastfeeding mother, ensuring safe and convenient storage of breast milk.
